Mel Paldino

 

    With more than 10 years in the industry, Mel Paldino has made her mark in the beauty industry and popular culture. The NYC , Boston, Miami based freelance artist has had her work featured on the hottest fashion runways, music videos, magazines, advertising campaigns and television shows. Her roster also includes some of the biggest names in music and television. Yet, even with such an impressive resume, it still comes down to one thing for Mel: “I love being able to transform people, not just the way they look but the way they feel about themselves.”

      Mel’s vast experience in every aspect of the industry, from the set to the salon, is what makes her such an in-demand artist. Mel loves that she is able to continuously learn new techniques and teach them to her fellow hair stylists around the country as a ColorProof Platform Artist and as a L'Oreal Paris Pro team artist for both Hair & Makeup. She brings extensive knowledge and an easy going demeanor to sets.

     Working in three major cities puts Mel in constant contact with creative people, which keeps her inspired and enthusiastic for her craft.  Challenges are always welcome. “Never be afraid to step out of your comfort zone,”.  “When things are tough that's when you learn the most about yourself.”
